Segundo o MW Bob Campbell, responsável por conduzir a degustação, a qualidade desta safra ficou abaixo da média em ambas as ilhas (Norte e Sul). Apesar disso, alguns dos melhores produtores do país alcançaram seus melhores resultados de todos os tempos.
